Dear Nathan, In my opinion, the sad political reality reflects a lack of humanity and compassion for Sentient Beings/Animals. Regardless if it is the leftwing mentality of Democrats like Karen Bass who represents Los Angeles Skid Row, or rightwing Alabama that ranks 50th as the worst kill state in the country, the problem is due to the education and upbringing of the politicians. As a former educator, the lack of sensitivity training in their upbringing attributes to their current insensitivity to animals and the killing in the pounds. We must create more Animal Study Schools where children can interact with the animals and their unconditional love. This is the hope that we can have for future generations so that people will no longer allow the pounds to kill loving and voiceless animals.EACH and EVERY LIFE MATTERS ❤️🐶😸
